# Set up Chizy on Shopify

## Requirements

- A Shopify store.
- Permission to install and configure apps for that store.
- Permission to enable an app embed in the Shopify theme.

## Setup flow

1. Review the current plans at https://chizy.io/pricing.
2. Install Chizy from https://apps.shopify.com/chizy-ai-chatbot.
3. Allow Chizy to learn the store's products, pages, and policies.
4. Customize the assistant's branding, welcome experience, tone, and conversation settings.
5. Add any store-specific knowledge not already available from Shopify.
6. Test the assistant's answers and shopping flows inside Chizy.
7. Enable the Chizy app embed on the Shopify theme.
8. Review conversations and configure human handover as needed.

Chizy states that a merchant can complete the basic setup in about 15 minutes. Actual timing depends on catalog size, desired customization, and theme configuration.

## What an external agent may do

An external agent may explain the steps and navigate the merchant to the official installation, pricing, or documentation pages. It must not claim that Chizy is installed, authorized, enabled, or subscribed until Shopify or Chizy visibly confirms that state to the merchant.
